InJoy Living Foundation Inc.

Established as (501 C3) nonprofit agency in April of 2005, Injoy's primary purpose is to provide independent  living services to women and children with disabilities.

Injoy operated a residential facility for women with mental illness and provided financial and life skills training to it's residents. At least ten of the 20 women served moved on to independent living arrangements.

In 2008 Injoy added community development and grant writing to its list of services.

What We Beleive

InJoy Living Foundation is a christian based non profit  organization designed to create a comprehensive system of addressing common barriers that limit the advancement of personal fulfillment through collaborative efforts of local community groups, government entities, financial and spiritual institutions.

Philosophy

We believe that contributing natural skills and abilities  to the community meets an innate need that cannot be fulfilled by artificial fixes  created outside the psyche or spirit. We encourage all of our clients to begin a journey that uncovers the inner joy that results from  using God given talents, skills and abilities .

Who We Are

Arlette Mitchell-Founder of Injoy Living Foundation has a total of 20 years of combined experience in social services with disabled adults. In addition she has six years of experience as an educator and seven years experience as a business owner. She has fulfilled several private contracts. One with Cater Reddy and Associates, an SES provider, and another with Tascoe and Associates, a firm that provides advocacy services for consumers in State Hospitals. She holds a Bachelors of Arts in Social Work and is currently completing a Masters Degree in Education.

Kenyon Lee- Chief Financial Officer, resides in the bay area and  is a real estate investor. He is a retired engineer who previously worked for Pacific Gas and Electric.

Michelle Hayes-  Secretary-holds a Masters of Arts Degree in Human Resources and is involved in political circles throughout Stockton.
